Switzerland, Fondue and a Podium Finish

Where else could one share slope-side fondue while watching an entire country turn out with over-sized cowbells for a World Cup ski race other than Wengen, (pronounced Ven-Gen) Switzerland. That’s exactly what our very own graphic designer Chelsea Robinson was thinking as she cheered on her brother Marco Sullivan, while he blasted through gates to a 3rd place podium finish in the Lauberhorn downhill at Wengen.  Marco has been racing with the US Ski team for ten years, and has been turning heads recently with some notable finishes while touring with the team on the Wold Cup.

Chelsea and her family hopped a plane and crossed the puddle to catch some races firsthand a few weeks ago and sample some European ski racing culture along the way. Check out a slide show of some photos from her trip.

The Circumerro crew is pulling for you, Marco. Next stop Sestriere, Italy and eventually the XX1 Winter Games in Vancouver, BC?
