After hearing, appreciating, agreeing with, and disagreeing with (depending on the moment) most arguments on the topic, I finally heard a well put, succinct explanation of why it’s not OK for Don Imus to call the Rutgers women’s basket ball team a bunch of “nappy headed ho’s”, but it is OK for every two-bit comedian to play the racial card with 90% of their jokes, or for Snoop Dogg to talk about N***ers, Ho’s, F’ing Ho’s, Fat F’ing Ho’s, etc in his songs. It came from the sole proud female member of Viper Division, of all people.”If I go up to Chelsea and tell her I have a big butt, and we discuss the fact that I have a big butt, how funny my big butt is, and how all Norwegian’s have huge butts, there’s no problem.
